THE re-opening of school started very well. There were many pupils enrolled, especially in grades R and 8.

Teaching and learning started on the first day, after assembly, which welcomed the new pupils and briefed pupils on the code of conduct and culture of the school Last Wednesday, athletic trials were held in preparation for the Umvoti Circuit Athletics meeting. Pupils were divided into four houses (Zebra, Lions, Cheetah and Springbok), and competed in the 80 m, 100 m, 200 m, 800 m, 1500 m and 3 000 m. The Springboks came first, Cheetahs second, Lions third and Zebras fourth. All houses received trophies.
