LAST Thursday senior primary (Grades 4-7) had an educational tour to Pietermaritzburg.

The tour started with a visit to the Crafty Duck Animal Farm.

On the farm pupils enjoyed watching and learning about different animals, such as ostriches, crocodiles, rabbits, iguanas, different species of snakes and birds, etc.

Pupils even had an opportunity to touch and take pictures holding snakes.

Each pupil also had a donkey or horse ride and a ride on a miniature train.

After that, they visited KwaZulu-Natal legislature, where they were educated about how the legislature works, portfolios of officials and different political parties that form part of it.

Their tour ended with a visit to the Msunduzi Museum, where they learnt about the history of South Africa.

School management and organisers thanks pupils and parents for a very successful and educational outing.
