DREAMS do come true - definitely for Dumani­ Madondo from Mabovini, Msinga who regards Greytown as his home.

Dumani is a rapper and after matriculating his dream was to be a musician in Johannesburg, where in 2007 he went, but things did not work out as planned.

Life was not easy, but Dumanigot a job as a petrol attendant and then a security guard, but now the rapper has got his big break as a television presenter on Ekuhuleni TV in Openview, powered by eTV.

The show - Zidelekhaya - is on every Saturday from 5.30pm to 6.30pm and is about Maskandi music, including a series of interviews.

As a rapper Dumani is known by the name "Soldier101". A single he recently did with Jaiva Zimnike is now playing on radio stations throughout the country.
