THE fun farm festival flies high at the New Hanover Pre-Primary School as families spend quality time together

On June 7 the New Hanover Pre-Primary held a “Fun Farm Family Festival. The sport centre came alive with shrieks of joy and laughter. The air was filled with excitement as children, parents and friends engaged in a festive evening of fun farm activities. The highlight of the evening was the capture of our dear Principal Lance Baguley, who had stolen and hidden the deputy Sheriff, “Eddie” the Elephant. Mr Baguley was chained to stocks for his deed, and during a dance-athon bail money was collected and he was released.

As a school, the success of such an event can only be measured by the generosity of each member of the school family. We feel extremely humbled and grateful for the way the parents and the community worked together to make this wonderful evening such a fantastic success! As staff and parents we feel both privileged and blessed to serve our children at a beautiful school like this, where the true meaning of “school family” can still be experienced through so much love and generosity. — Supplied.
