THE second term is always busy on the sports field and the past two weekends have seen some exciting sport festivals hosted at New Hanover Prep.
The school hosted a tag-rugby festival, which is always a highlight for the boys as well as our annual U13 girls’ day-night hockey festival. The latter event saw 17 schools participating, five of which stayed over for the night. The girls had a fun-filled afternoon of hockey as well as dancing and cheering alongside the hockey field.

Winterton Primary were the overall winners of the festival, closely contested by Bisley in second and St John’s in third place.

The New Hanover Pre-Primary held a Mother’s Day afternoon tea for our special pre-primary mothers. The children sang songs then the moms made bath salts with their children, were treated to manicures, and explored the wonderful NHPP playground.
