IT is important for our children to be reminded of the importance of trees and to be environmentally aware.
As an International Eco-School, New Hanover Prep believes in encouraging our children to be mindful of their environment.

During International Arbor Week, the children at New Hanover Prep collected indigenous tree seeds from around the school grounds and planted them in seed trays.
The children learnt about the trees they were planting, as well as how to grow trees from seed. There was much excitement when after just a few days, there were already a number of seedlings emerging.
