THE Outreach Club had a wonderful excursion to learn all about the important work done by the SPCA and to deliver food they had donated for the animals.
The children enjoyed interacting with the animals while finding out how they could be involved in volunteering their assistance.
A sense of legacy is a basic human need and our annual Grandparent’s Day once again provided an opportunity for our children to show their appreciation and love toward their grandparents (and other special older adult friends).
It was a celebration of the value of all grandparents and the special relationships with them. Visiting the classrooms gave grandparents an opportunity to see first-hand what children are doing in today's schools. They were then treated to singing, treats and spending quality time playing games with their grandchildren.

It is a day when young and old can exist together in a moment of time that's the grand sum of past, present, and future, thus creating a community that remembers its history as it builds its future. Young and old can certainly find wisdom and inspiration in each other.
