THE children were all very excited to get back to school last week for what is sure to be an action packed second term.

On Friday, April 20 the school celebrated World Book Day.

This is always a highlight for the children and this year they were asked to bring their all-time favourite book to school with them which they shared with their teachers and classes. A number of other activities focussing on books and reading took place throughout the day including some of the classes even writing their own books.

On Saturday, April 21 we hosted our annual tag-rugby festival combined with our moms-and-daughters’ hockey matches and dads-and-lads’ tag-rugby matches.

The children love playing sport with their parents and this was a lovely way to kick off the second term sport programme. There were some very stiff parents the following day!
