WE have had an exciting start to the third term at NHP with lots on the go already!

Last week saw the start of an exciting new chapter at NHP as the school welcomed our new headmaster Mr Lance Baguley with a blessing assembly and our traditional bell ringing ceremony outside the church.

In support and celebration of Nelson Mandela Day, our children and families donated loaves of brown bread which were distributed to various charities within the area.

We had an overwhelming response to this initiative and collected over 300 loaves of bread.

It is so important for children to be reminded of the importance of giving to the less fortunate. Over the weekend the girls’ soccer teams participated in the Laddsworth five-a-side soccer festival.

This is always a highlight for them and a wonderful way to start the soccer season.

Seven NHP boys represented the Umvoti Hockey team (comprising of boys from NHP, Eston and Wembley) in the Hilton and Michaelhouse Prep schools hockey festivals. These festivals were a fantastic opportunity for our boys to compete at a higher level of hockey.
