WE are very fortunate to have flood lights on our sports fields at New Hanover Prep School (NHP), and our annual day/night tournaments are always a highlight for the children.

The events bring excitement and the thrill of playing under lights, help build team spirit and, of course, the prospect of medals.

Over the course of the 2018 year, NHP has hosted a number of events which have seen 45 teams participating in the various day/night tournaments.

Schools travel from all over KZN and they are always well supported.

On Friday, September 14 NHP hosted the final day/night tournament for the year.

This was a combined U11 girls’ soccer and boys’ hockey festival. It was great fun, and a lovely way for the teams to conclude their seasons.
