GREYTOWN High School pupils started its cricket season with some challenging games. U14 against Hermannsburg - Greytown lost the toss and batted first. Greytown put up a total of 98 with 3 wickets remaining in 20 overs. Hermannsburg reached 98 in 17 overs with 6 wickets remaining. Greytown man of the match was Romerio Buthelezi. U15 against Hermannsburg - Hermannsburg batted first and made 57 for 2 in 15 overs. Greytown made 58 for 1 in 13 overs. Greytown man of the match was Bongi Fulela.

U14 against Treverton - Treverton, who batted first put up 228 runs in 25 overs. Greytown were unable to reply losing their wickets in 17 overs. The 2017 Hermannsburg Mudman was a fun day out for 12 Greytowns pupils. Four teams were entered into the high school challenge . All four teams finished in good time.

The recent inter-house gala was a lovely day, enthusiastically enjoyed by spectators and swimmers.

The gala was won by Botha house, and Botha also took the Spirit Cup.

Senior victrix ludorum Shayna Hattingh, senior victor ludorum Kyle Thompson, U16 victrix ludorum Kiara Thompson, U16 victor ludorum Michael Thompson, U14 victrix ludorum Lungelo Majola and U14 victor ludorum Lubabalo Mabaso. Much laughter and fun was had with the pupils vs teachers race at the end of all the events - and of course the teachers won.
