ON 13 May, the 1st hockey team participated in the seventh annual Spar Tournament.

Greytown had a mixture of results with 1 win, 1 draw and two losses. Goal scorer was Zama Ndlovu with two goals.

U15A - the team met St Charles U15C on 13 May and in a more structured game the team won 29-3. Despite the cold conditions the team played with much heart.

U15B - the team travelled to Weston to play in cold and sleet. The boys played well and won 29-5. Tri-scorers were Sandiso Qwabe, Amahle Mdubeki, Wenda Zuma, Mafuye Nkabinde and Lethokuhle Mbili.

1st team - The 1st team met with St Charles 3rds in Pietermaritzburg in very cold conditions. Due to the conditions, ball handling was difficult which resulted in many errors. The half-time score was 14-7 to the hosts. Greytown improved in the second half as they drew level almost immediately. The teams would exchange one more try each to leave the scores at 21-21.

Try scorers were Sthembele Zuma, Luyanda Zondi, Yenziwe Zuma. Conversions Siyanda Majozi (3).
