AS an international eco-school, New Hanover Prep School prides itself in educating the children about the environment and the important role that we play in conserving it.

During Arbour week 2016, the children collected seeds from various trees around the school grounds and learnt how to grow them.

This year the children planted three of the Leopard trees which they grew from seeds!

In order to increase awareness about the importance of recycling, the children had a fun “trashion show” at school.

They came to school wearing an item or outfit made out of recycled material. It was incredible to see the interesting and creative ideas that they came up with!
