No sea breeze for opposition party

2016-04-27 06:00

Sir, I REFER to your article "We do like to be beside the seaside" in last week’s Greytown Gazette. On receipt of the invite to this "bash" I immediately wrote to the municipal manager and indicated that the DA would have no part in this wasteful expenditure, and pointed out that these scarce resources could be much better utilised for the benefit of our community.

The DA has always advocated that workshops should be held in Greytown in council chambers or the town hall, at no cost to our residents. This wasteful expenditure once again goes to show that this ANC-led council has no regard for our residents and as I have previously stated, "you get what you vote for”.
