PANNAR Seed would like to announce the appointment of Nick Goble as business manager.

In this role he will lead Pannar's commercial activities including strategy, growth and profitability in South Africa and also be a member of the DuPont's agriculture business Africa Leadership team.

"We are appointing a seasoned and successful leader, who has played an important part in the company's success," said Prabdeep Bajwa, DuPont Pioneer Regional Director, Africa.

"Nick brings unique experience and passion to this role and I have every confidence that he will continue to propel the Pannar business forward."

Nick has an excellent track record of success leading Pannar Seed's commercial business in over 10 countries in East, South and Central Africa. He brings over 21 years' experience in the industry covering many roles of increasing seniority including commercial leadership and strategic business development.

He has been a member of the African Seed Trade Association since its inception in 2000 and has led the association as vice-president in 2012-2013 and president in 2014-2015.

In his new role, Nick will continue to be based at Pannar Seed’s head office in Greytown.

"I am honoured with this opportunity to drive Pannar's business growth. I remain committed to our solid business principles. Flanked by an experienced commercial team, I look forward to building on Pannar's 58 year legacy of success and service for the increasingly sophisticated needs of farmers in Africa into the future," said Goble.
