Penny Kearsey — our legend

2019-02-20 06:00

PENNY Kearsey, known to many for her Woolshop in Greytown, was known by everybody.

She was actively involved with the bowling club and was ladies singles champion for 1976, 1977 1978 and 1988. Was handicap singles champion (ladies) in 1977 1979 and 1990. She also won the nominated pairs with John Kearsey in 1978. She represented Greytown for 25 years. She was always friendly and thoughtful, and a great help to others.

She had quietly moved into the background for her last years at Arcadia.

For those who met and remember her, she was a legend.
