A GROUP of very enthusiastic Wembley College pre-schoolers spent a busy morning visiting the animals and staff at the SPCA.

After listening attentively to a brief talk about the caring work done by the SPCA and the responsible way in which pets should be cared for, the children were able to interact with the variety of animal residents at the centre.

Before travelling back to school, the children contributed a generous assortment of cat and dog food for the animals cared for by the SPCA.

This wonderful gesture was most gratefully received and the food will be enjoyed by the many animals taken in during the holiday season.
