President Zuma in town this weekend

PRESIDENT Jacob Zuma will be in Greytown this weekend to attend the annual Matimelo Family Trust get-together.

The president will attend the cultural event at Lake Merthley on Saturday from 9am to 4pm, followed by a gala dinner at the town hall at 6pm.

On Sunday a closed meeting for the Matomela family takes place at the town hall.

To book tables for the dinner, contact Mr Thobani Zuma on 072 629 9119.

Main through roads in the town will be closed as follows - from the corner of Pine to Bell streets, from the corner of Bell to Cathcart streets and from the corner of Pine to Maitland streets.

Closures will be from 6am on Saturday October 7 until 5pm on Sunday October 8.

The municipality urges motorists to exercise caution on the road to Lake Merthley on Saturday as a high volume of traffic is expected on the road.
