TO the people who are secretly watering their garden and washing their vehicles with clean tap water,

to the people who abuse the JoJo tanks by stealing the taps, stabbing the tanks, stealing the tanks, and most of all to those who arrive at the tanks in pick-up vehicles and SUVs laden with scoops in areas where they do not reside, thereby depleting the water intended for the people in that area, there are people from far out of town who are poaching water from our tanks for resale. All of you mentioned above are the people who are worsening the drought situation for everybody.

Greytown is being fed from boreholes, alone.

It does not take a rocket scientist to work out that if boreholes are over-pumped, they are going drop in capacity or worse, they will dry up.

We are heading into winter and that means no rain. No rain and our dam is nowhere near enough to carry us through the first phase of winter.

To the people who demand water, we cannot manufacture water, we only can use what we have.

To the people who are going onto social media making out that things are worse than what they are, please refrain from stirring up emotions.

Let us pull together, because no doubt the situation is going to tighten up. Please report abuse, leaks, bursts and follow up on your reports.

There are some of us who whole heartedly care and are ready to go the extra mile, within reason.
