Rugby players ... we need your help

2018-05-16 06:00

IT has been proven time and time again that sport is a positive means of keeping youth occupied and away from drugs and crime.

With this in mind, a group of positive enthusiastic pupils at Greytown Secondary School have got together to form a rugby team.

At this stage its fairly basic as they need lots of assistance in coaching, rugby equipment, etc.

But they are determined to succeed and bring sport back into the range of Greytown Secondary School pupils’ activities.

Rugby has played an important role with many men in Umvoti — this is an appeal to any one of them out there, and the municipality, to help these youngsters achieve their dreams of having a Greytown Secondary School rugby team line up to play against other school rugby teams.

If you can assist please contact Bandile Khumalo at 084 664 8386 or Lindikuhle Dlomo at 084 830 4583.
