SISEKELOE High School in Kranskop has for some time been targeted by anti-social, irresponsible thieves, who have stolen school food, soccer and netball jerseys, cash and stationery.

This all came to end thanks to Buffalo Security personnel, S’bongiseni Absolom Mchuu and Khanyisani Lucky Xulu, who caught the thieves red handed on 28 June.
They were patrolling during the night when they saw three young boys hiking with heavy bags. S’bongiseni and Khanyisani immediately thought it was suspicious to be trying to get a lift at that time of the night, carrying heavy bags.

They stopped and questioned the youngsters and told them to open the bags. In the bags were goods obviously stolen from Sisekelo. The three admitted the goods were stolen from the school and showed the two security men where they had cut through the fence to gain entrance to the school.
They used hammers and sharp objects, found in their possession, to break the various security gates and doors.

Two of the three suspects, all of whom came from Kwadolo, were released as they were minors, and the third was arrested.
