A GROUP of Sisekelo High pupils went on an interesting educational tour to Durban on 2 September.
Starting off at the KwaMuhle Museum where an education office, Maypher Mngomezulu, spoke about what life was like in and around Durban during apartheid.

They studied exhibits, including photographs of township life and reflected on the contributions of ordinary people who laid the foundations of eThekweni development. They also learnt about the uses of indigenous plants in ancient and modern times.

Mondli Mungwe, a multimedia animator at Kwa Muhle, conducted an Aids awareness talk on how the youth can protect themselves from being infected by Aids.

Next was a visit to the Wushwini Art Centre where they watched an exciting stage play.

To finish off the day pupils went to South Beach to swim and relax.

Sisekelo High School personnel would like to thank all the parents who contributed to this enjoyable and educational tour.
