THERE were 20 very excited and happy
pupils at Sisekelo High School last week when Umvoti deputy Mayor, Miss N. Masikane, handed over new bicycles to them.

Principal Mr N.O. Khanyile told the Greytown Gazette that when it was realised a number of pupils were having to walk long distances to get to school each day, he decided to find a positive solution to
assist them.

Mr Khanyiule said he had approached the Umvoti Deputy Mayor to assist and she had reacted positively by giving the school 20 new bicycles, helmets, pumps and reflector waistcoats.

The principal, staff and pupils expressed their appreciation to the deputy mayor for her assistance.
