IT took four years, 21 monthly mug rounds, 1 680 shots, 33 double bogeys, nine birdies, only two eagles and losing only four golf balls, for Dieter Meyer to win a Farmers’ Agri-Care monthly mug (and also three count-outs - once from a male member and twice from a lady golf member).

The Farmers’ Agri-Care monthly mug was played over the weekend, as well as the Sanlam Cancer Challenge.
Golfers set off ahead of the expected bad weather forecast for the weekend and when the last golfers walked off the course, the mist engulfed the course - the lightning-fast greens foxed quite a few players.

The bad weather yielded 25mm rain by Monday morning.

2nd Mike Harison nett 69

3rd Merwin Rabe nett 70
