St Cathryn’s news

2016-11-23 06:00

ALL members and friends are reminded of the Farmers’ Agri-Care Monthly Mug to be played on Saturday 26 November. Tee-off from 9am onwards.

The course has greened up over the past few weeks, but the hollow tining holes have not all matted up, as we have a shortage of water.

So the green keeper is also unable to use fertiliser, because without sufficient water or rainfall the fertiliser will damage the greens.

Our two dams at St Cathryn’s are still very low, one about five percent full and the other is only 13% full.

Our damily day away will be on Thursday 29 December, and will be held at either Kloof or Mount Edgecombe.

Members are welcome to suggest any other course of their choice. We also need to remember that we should play where there is something for the non-playing family members to entertain themselves with.

Members are also reminded that subs are due by the end of January 2017, and a golf membership makes a great Christmas present. Please contact the club for rates.

This Friday the putt-putt committee will meet as usual - from 4pm onwards.
Please contact Piet to book for golf on 083 269 1661.
