St Cathryn’s news

2017-05-03 06:01

ST Cathryn's hosted their annual “classic” over the weekend. It is the main fund-raiser for the club, and the funds raised this year will be used to buy a verti-cutting machine.

In the field were five sets of father and sons, and even one grandfather and grandson team.

The most technical prizes were for the nearest to pin for 2, on the 8th and 12th, with some very tricky pin positions. Thank you to the players and sponsors for their support, who came from Pietermaritzburg, Mooi River, Greytown, Nkandla, Mandini, Hermannsburg, Johannesburg and even Limpopo.

The weather played its part, and a happy day was spent out on the course, followed by supper in the clubhouse.
