St Cathryn’s news

2017-07-05 06:02

MEMBERS are reminded that we will be playing our Sanlam Cancer Challenge on Saturday 8 July , as well as our Farmers Agri-

Care Monthly Mug. We would like to thank Greytown Golf club for postponing its monthly mug so that their members can support the Sanlam Cancer Challenge. We are so pleased that our friend and Ladies golf captain, Liekie is back home - we are all missing her “chirps” on the golf course and wish her a speedy recovery. All are welcome to pop in for a” cuppa for Cancer “ on Saturday for CANSA . If you would like, ride our 6km or 25km cycle track and part of your entry fee will go to
CANSA.

There will be Medal Monthly Mug and the Individual Stableford Cancer Challenge being played simultaneously on Saturday. There will be quite a few prizes up for grabs for visitors but a St Cathryns golfer will go through to represent the Club at the Regionals on 20th August at Victoria Country club.

On Sunday 9th we could be playing the second round of the Tri-angular competition at Mandini, we will confirm with members via the Whats App group. Please let Piet know if you will be available.

On the golf course ,on holes 1 and 10, and 4 and 13 the old pine stumps have been removed and these areas are now to be treated as GUR - refer to your playing partner to get a ruling.

This Friday we will be hosting the Kranskop Farmers Association members for the annual game count evening. We will be “ Building a Burger” and all from Garden Club and Book Club are Welcome to join us. To book for golf and /or supper please contact Piet 083269 1661or Cathy 082 555 2661
