SATURDAY saw the battle of the Captains in the Farmers’ Agri-Care Monthly Mug at St Cathryn’s as our captain Brent lost on a count to Tienie Muller the Greytown golf captain.

We had five of the six players in the inter-club team on the course, doing final practice and planning of tactics for the inter-club competition at the end of the month.

RESULTS OF THE FARMERS’ AGRI-CARE MONTHLY MUG:

1st: Tienie Muller nett 69 o.c.o

2nd: Brent Barkhuizen

3rd: Fanie van Wyk nett 70

4th: Mike Harrison nett71

5th: Andre Scheepers nett 72

Best Stableford: Brent Barkhuizen 39 points

The Kranskop Farmers’ Association members are reminded to start their yearly preparations and practices for the annual Golf 911 fun 9-hole competition to be played on Saturday November 11. The format is three-ball Alliance- American Scramble.
