St Cathryn’s news

2017-11-08 06:01

ON Saturday November 11, the Kranskop Farmers’ Association is having their 9-hole fun golf competition.

It is the annual fund-raiser organised in aid of Golf 911. The emphasis is on fun, 9 holes only, American scramble and lots of laughter. Golfers will be paired with the non- golfing farmers. Tee off will be from 11am.

The cost is R150 per player, and includes supper that evening.

All non-golfers interested in playing in this fun tournament are welcome. Please book with Piet.

Darnall and Mandeni golf clubs have requested a Triangular match on Sunday November 12 at St Cathryn’s and we invite members, golfers and visitors who are interested in playing for St Cathryn’s to contact the club as well.

The format is individual stableford and the teams points are added together and then divided by the number of players. The highest points will determine the winning club. The cost is also R150, and includes half-time and lunch on Sunday. Tee off is at 9am. St Cathryn’s are the current holders of the trophy.

Please let us know if you would like to play. To book for golf and/or meals, phone Piet on 083 269 1661
