St Cathryn’s news

2018-01-17 06:01

ST Cathryns wishes members and friends a happy and healthy 2018 and we hope to see you all on the course.

We hope now that the year is in full swing we will see more of our members.

Subs are now due and are payable to KZNGU and HNA by the end of January.

The course has had some rain, but these hot days cause the greens to be hard and fast – 11-12 on the stimp meter.

The spring that feeds the trout dam has been running and there is now some water in the dam. The 6th has now become more difficult to play again due to the rising water.

St Cathryn’s is sad to say goodbye to two of our most loyal supporters and home owners - Rikus and Liekie are moving to Pretoria where Rikus will be based in Centurion and Liekie will be nearer to medical facilities.

We thank them for all their support and wish them well – “look-out Gauteng courses, we are sending Liekie to tame you”.

This Saturday there will be a 9-hole Better Ball meat competition. Contact Piet should you wish to play on 083 269 1661.
