THE Farmers Agri-care Monthly Mug is to be played on August 17 and golfers will be met with some severe changes on the course. The greens were treated for weeds and have been painted a healthy green colour, but they are still as fast as lightning.

The very unfriendly two “Pin Oaks”, who weren’t ever members, and are not related to anyone from Seven Oaks, which were on the fourth and 13th fairway, have been transplanted.

The same two holes have had their T- boxes levelled and enlarged. The committee is still waiting for the results of the re-rating of the course and as soon as results are made available, we will have the computer updated and members notified.

The very popular Hermannsburg Golf Day is to be played on September 20 and September 21, so golfers can either play on the Friday or Saturday. Come and experience German food and hospitality.

To enter, please contact Piet at 083 269 1661, and should you wish to sponsor the event, contact the school at 074 125 0054. Please note: the fleet of carts has been booked out for the Saturday field.
