St Cathryn’s news

THE players of the Farmers Agri-care monthly mug, which was played on Saturday, January 25, had to contend with varied weather conditions.

The early golfers had a very strong northerly wind and the late golfers had perfect sunshine with little or no wind at times.

Our only sergeant major in the field, E.T. Ntuli, had to remember his army drills on the shooting range all too well: “op jou eie teiken en afmik vir wind,” as Ntuli was one of the early mug starters playing in the wind.

Ntuli was counted out from Maruis Muller to end in second place.
