ST David's School held its inter-house athletics meeting on Friday 9 September. A total of nine records were broken. Slatter house won the trophy by a very large margin.

Junior achiever: Layla Mthimkhulu

Morgan Cup for Endeavour: Linique Alexander and Bandile Duma

Team Spirit: Slatter

Slatter Memorial Cup for the winning house: Slatter

Awande Ntshingila broke five records in the boys U10 sprints: 80m, 100m, 400m, 200m and 1200m. Sandisiwe Makhatini broke two records in the girls U11 events: 80m and 100m sprints. Simthandile Hlongwa broke the girls U8 60m sprint record, and Slatter ran the girls’ open 100m relay in record time.

The awards were presented by Mrs. K. Newmarch, a member of the school council.
