AFTER the service on Sunday 7 May, St James Children’s Church members were given a tour of the church by Peter Russell who highlighted the history of the various beautiful stained glass windows,

Then a session of fun games - a treasure hunt, three-legged races, potato and spoon races, and ball games followed by an enjoyable picnic on the lawns.

With Mother’s Day just gone, the final activity was creating a bracelet with different coloured beads depicting the 23rd Psalm, which they gave to their mothers on Mother’s Day.
