CONGRATULATIONS to Nontobeko Mzila, a Grade11 pupil at Mphelandaba High School, who is doing outstandingly well as a 5 000 metre runner.

Nontobeko started by winning the event at the Umshwati Ward schools meeting at Cool Air sports grounds on February 1.

She then went on to represent Umshwati at the uMngeni circuit level athletic meeting on February 9, also at the Cool Air track.

Again the winner, this outstanding athlete went on to represent uMngeni circuit at district level and as the easy winner of the 5 000 m race, has been selected to represent uMgungundlovu District in the provincial athletics competition in Pietermaritzburg on March 9.
