Thieves hold up Pine Street petrol service station

A CASE of business robbery has been opened at Greytown SAPS after a service station was robbed on September 9 at about 1pm.

According to the police, an unknown suspect intruded into the service station on Pine Street and held up employees at gunpoint demanding cash.

Police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Thulani Zwane said: “He robbed them of cash and fled on foot. A case of business robbery was opened at Greytown police station for investigation.”

At the time of going to press, no arrest had been made.
