To be or not to be?

2018-10-17 06:02

GREYTOWN weather is notoriously unpredictable, which makes it difficult to state whether the scheduled Eskom power cut will take place on Tuesday, October 23 or Thursday, October 25.

So, to be on the safe side, the Greytown Gazette deadlines for the issue of Wednesday, October 24 have been moved forward.

Absolute deadline for next Wednesday copy is 10 am on Monday, October 22. The normal advertising deadlines apply.

The forecast for next Tuesday is 15 degrees and no rain but, as all locals know, this can change within minutes.

On the rain front — between 22mm and 32mm was recorded in and around town over the weekend.

However, Lake Merthley is still below 60% full.
