Little Oaks Kindergarten school bids a sad farewell to Siphokuhle Nxumalo (3), who passed away on March 31 at the Umhlanga Hospital, following a tragic accident at his home.

“Okuhle, as he was know, was a pupil at our school. He loved school and always wore a big smile when he entered the classroom. He was happy and cheerful, and a pleasure to teach.

“Okuhle loved to paint and would always show his teacher what he had done so far, saying: ‘Look, teacher!’ before carrying on with his work. Okuhle was also a very curious boy and often asked ‘Why, teacher?’

“All of us in the kindergarten, teachers and pupils, will miss him greatly and never forget what a wonderful boy he was — in the short time he was with us, we had the privilege of glimpsing a tiny bit of what he saw of our wonderful world. He will be with us forever in our hearts.

“On behalf of our principal Trevor Harbottle, the whole management team and the board of trustees, we wish to convey our deepest sympathy and profound condolences to all who are affected by this tragedy. May Okuhle's soul rest in peace” the school said.
