Ubuntu bikers’ breakfast run on Sunday

2018-01-24 06:01

FROM 9.30am on Sunday January 28 the roar of hundreds of motorbikes will resound through Greytown as the annual Ubuntu national breakfast run takes place with 500 to 700 riders biking through to King Edward Park.

Greytown has been chosen again this year as the meeting place for the KZN section of the annual national Ubuntu breakfast motorbike run which will start from the Engen Garage in Pietermaritzburg Northway at 8.15am.

Bikers from clubs all over KZN meet in Greytown at the park from 10 am.

A three-hour programme with the bikers will take place which the public is invited to attend.

The grande finale will see the bikers driving through Greytown before departing - this could cause traffic delays in and around the park and the route for the breakfast run.

This is a countrywide annual event where, in each of the provinces, motorbike club members gather at one spot in that province at the end of their breakfast run.

Refreshments and food will be on sale in the park as well as arts and crafts.
