Ubuntu breakfast bike run

2017-01-25 06:01

HUNDREDS of bikers will gather at King Edward Park this Sunday for the second nationwide Ubuntu ride to highlight and promote them for the "we are one" initiative.

Some concerned bikers, believing there is not sufficient communication among individuals and biking clubs, set up the first national Ubuntu run last year, bringing together bikers from all clubs, ages, genders and backgrounds to speak the common language of roaring engines on a mass ride. Bikers from all over KZN will arrive at the park from 9.30am. There will be a three-hour programme in the park and the public is invited at come along to listen as well as share “ubuntu" with the bikers. This is a countrywide annual event where, in each of the provinces, motorbike club members gather at one spot in that province at the conclusion of their breakfast run.
