IT was a special day at Trust feed last week when, thanks to the Muslim community, residents now have potable water.

While Umshwati Municipality does get water supplied by Umgungundlovu District it is not enough and many residents were dependent on delivery from water trucks.

However, when it was discovered there was water underground which could be serviced through boreholes, Umshwati looked for a sponsor and the Muslim community came forward to sponsor the water pumps and connections.

Residents are really appreciative of the generosity of the donation, which means they now have a regular supply of water.
