UMVOTI Aids Center is now proudly into its second year of the Masifundisane Siphumelele after school computer programme.

This constructive programme is aimed at promoting technological knowledge and awareness to vulnerable children in the community who would not otherwise be able to experience such activities in that being computer literate is a positive tool for social, psychological and academic development.

Funded by Anglican Church members who also assist by teaching English reading and comprehension, mathematics and undertaking homework with some of the vulnerable youngsters, four of whom are learning these programs on the computer.

Anyone wishing to join this unique and rewarding project is asked to please contact Bongekile Mdunge or Nontobeko Dube who are running the programme at the Umvoti Aids Centre — contact number: 033 413 2745.

Also an appeal to anyone who has a spare working or old computer to donate to the project to help the children strive in a world of computers and technology.
