THE largest inflatable water park of its kind to be imported to the African continent will be operating at Lake Merthley at the Daisy Creek Festival from December 14 to December 17.

1Life Insurance Company have partnered with the Daisy Creek Festival to bring this amazing phenomenon to South Africa for the first time ever!

The Water Park uses no potable water as it floats like an island on the lake; a fun, safe and family-friendly attraction for festival visitors.

The park will be staffed by water rescue certified teams including professional life guards.

All participants will be given life jackets to wear as part of the experience.

The “Lake Stage” will be placed on the shore directly in front of the water park so patrons can enjoy the music whilst sitting on the water park.

The water park will remain on the lake after the festival for the enjoyment of visitors.

It is made of interconnected trampolines, slides, and climbing structures and is great fun for all age groups. Children younger than eight will however not be allowed on the structure for safety reasons.

There is a 1.2m minimum height requirement in order to access the park and anyone under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Ticket sales for the Daisy Creek Festival will open at the end of this month, together with the announcement of the first 12 top South African artists on our website which will also go live at the end of September.

The UCTO urges local food vendors and market stall owners to sign up for the festival.

There are going to be many mouths to feed over those four days so let's not lose out on this opportunity to benefit from this local festival!
