WARTBURG Kirchdorf High held its annual prize giving recently. Dux for 2015 is Christiane Rencken, who recently featured in the news as the winner of the SA Consumer Studies Olympiad. She also received first prize in consumer studies, life orientation, life science, Afrikaans, German, mathematics, English and bilingualism.

2016 Head prefects were also announced:

Head boy: Thabiso Sibiya.

Deputy head boy, Kevin Engelbrecht.
Head girl: Carrie-Anne Stegen.

Deputy head girl: Liyabona Tyali.

WKS congratulates all prize winners for their outstanding achievements, and thanks the guest speaker, Dereck Jackson for his inspiring talk and for handing out the prizes. Good luck to the 2016 head prefects and prefects.
