THE Wartburg Kirchdorf School (WKS) thrives off happy pupils in a happy environment, and with that the idea of clubs was born.

Clubs such as Eco, Hip Hop, Junior Foodies and Live Drawing (to name a few), facilitated by the teachers, allows each member of the WKS family to relish their creative side and develop key interactive skills in society. The clubs, carried out for one hour a week, develop skills and interests that are otherwise not offered in the curriculum. The club hour is compulsory for grades 4 to 12, but are not age specific, allowing different age groups to develop friendships across the various phases, creating bonds that will strengthen the “family feel” already in the school. — Supplied.
