Wartburg Kirchdorf School news

2017-02-22 06:02

ON Saturday February 11, Wartburg Kirchdorf School (WKS) hosted the 13th Wartburg MTB cycle race, sponsored this year once again by the Illovo Group.

We would like to thank the race co-ordinators Brigitte Straeuli, Craig Behrens, the race committee, sponsors, donors, riders and helpers who made this day such a success.

The highlight for the school was when the Illovo marketing manager, Darrell De Wet, handed a R100 000 cheque to principal, Geoff Baxter.

The school is in the process of building a multi-purpose indoor centre, and we are very grateful to Illovo for the donation towards this project.

On behalf of the principal, staff, parents and pupils of Wartburg Kirchdorf School, we thank Mr De Wet and the Illovo Group for their contribution and commitment to our school.

We look forward to a long and mutually rewarding relationship between Illovo and WKS.
