Water update

2016-10-05 06:00

DESPITE the very welcome 72ml rain recorded in Greytown in September, drought conditions still remain. Greytonians are requested to continue their outstanding efforts in saving water and adjusting to the minimal flow in the mornings.

Lake Merthley is 18.04% full.

Still no update on the Craigieburn pipeline from Umzinyathi District Municipality, and the level of Craigieburn dam certainly does not indicate that it will be a major supply source of water to Greytown in the near future.
