DESPITE regular build ups of impressive looking storm-like clouds, and the rumble of thunder, Greytown is now into its third year of drought and water restrictions.

January has been marked by searing hot temperatures, and according to the forecasts, that is the pattern for the next week or so.

Level of Lake Merthley on Monday this week was 47,95%. Rainfall recorded since the beginning of December to date – 69mm.
