JUST over a month ago there was negative reporting about Esokheni High School as pupils went on strike and burnt a classroom, protesting about the lack of facilities at the school.

However, last week it was a positive and happy state of affairs as accountancy pupils from Grade 10 to Grade 12 were awarded certificates for their participation in the University of Johannesburg Finance and Investment Management Olympiad.

Accountancy teacher, Mr N.N. Mchunu told the Greytown Gazette the pupils were motivated by their achievement as they look toward to their future education at the University of Johannesburg.
