THE Wembley College Open and U16 boys’ hockey teams travelled to St Mary’s to compete against Kearsney College for their first match of the season on April 27.

The open boys were set with the challenge of competing against Kearsney’s second team. In an action-packed match, Wembley College emerged victors, registering a 5-2 win.

The U16 boys came up against Kearsney’s U16 C team and once again some fantastic hockey was played. The U16’s played with determination and won 4-2.

This is the first meeting between Kearsney College and Wembley College and we look forward to building a healthy sports relationship between the schools.
